跨文化交际中的礼貌原则研究

［摘　要］ 礼貌原则是人们在社会言语交际中必须遵守的原则,然而中西方文化价值、个人价值观等差异导致了礼貌原则差异的存在，从而影响了跨文化交际的顺利进行。语言与文化密切相关，语言是文化的载体，同时也是文化的重要组成部分。人们在社会言语交际中，必须遵守礼貌原则。文章的第一部分主要介绍了礼貌原则的相关概念，以及中外研究者对礼貌原则的研究。在论文的第二部分，用丰富的例子分析中西礼貌特点。最后论文对中西礼貌差异的背景原因进行分析，总结归纳在跨文化交际中应正确的使用跨文化交际策略，提高跨文化交际能力，保证跨文化交际的顺利进行。

The Politeness Principle in Cross-cultural Communication
 
Abstract: Politeness is an indispensable element to human communication. In social verbal communication, people must comply with the politeness principle. This thesis mainly discusses politeness in the western and Chinese culture. The author uses the contrastive analysis to study Politeness not only in linguistic forms but also in nonverbal communication. Politeness is everywhere in our social life, and it is also culture specific. It is found that the different realization of politeness in English culture and Chinese culture is influenced by the different cultural patterns of them. By analyzing Politeness in the cross-cultural communication, this thesis may be helpful for people in cross-cultural communication. The first part of this article mainly introduces the related concept of the politeness principle, and the researchers’ research on the politeness principle. The second part of the paper presents the polite principle characteristics of China and western countries with sufficient example. In the last of the paper, the background and reason of the differences of Chinese and western politeness principle are analyzed. Besides, the paper makes some implications for the cross-cultural communication. Some communicational strategies are sum up, in order to improve the ability of cross-cultural communication, and ensure the cross-cultural communication go on smoothly.
