广东省佛山地区的英语培训的热潮研究

Abstract

This paper, based on the theories of lifelong learning and autonomous learning, aims to guide the English training market to develop much healthier and enhance lifelong learning more effectively. This study firstly states the background and causes of the boom of English training, and then gives the definition and the development of life-long learning. Meanwhile, it investigates and analyzes the phenomenon of the boom of English training in Foshan District of Guangdong Province. A lot of preparations have been done before writing this paper, including over a year data collecting, questionnaires given to some students of different grades and interviews made by the organizers of different English training institutes. Results of the research reveal that there are five major problems and three widespread fallacies existing in the current market of English training. Last but not least, findings and elicitations are drawn by the writer, as well as the related suggestion and strategies are provided so as to solve the above problems，which includes how to  optimize the English training market, create various and adaptable training modes, call for life long learning and autonomous learning, and build a learning-oriented society.

人类现在已经进入了“知识爆炸”的信息网络时代。每个民族都需要整体提升学习能力以缔造学习化社会。终身学习的提出和发展是寻求一个“学习的世界”与“信息爆炸社会”相匹配的必然。在这种条件下，我们应该更加关注终身学习，探求以更好的学习模式有效进行终身学习的途径，以适应现代化进程的和发展。本文通过对佛山英语培训的市场调查，进一步了解在终身学习理论框架支撑下英语学习热潮掀起的必然性，并找出一定地区英语培训热存在的问题误区及其启示，使我们对终身习的重要性有更深入的认识，确认健康的市场培训模式能使终身学习产生更大的效能。
