浅谈外企员工跨文化商务沟通策略

伴随着经济全球化进程的加速、中国加入世贸组织以及中国改革开放的步伐,外资企业在中国呈现出方兴未艾的趋势。
然而,不同国家和地区的文化往往存在着差异,并不可避免地影响着人们的思维方式、价值观念,从而增加了外企员工跨文化商务沟通的复杂性,一旦沟通方式不到位,就会引起不必要的误会和尴尬,严重时甚至导致商务活动的失败和双方关系恶化。为了避免这样的误会和尴尬,取得有效的沟通成果,本文主要探讨外企员工跨文化商务沟通的策略。
本文首先在第一章论述了跨文化商务沟通的全球化背景及其在外资企业中所产生的重要作用,接着在第二章探讨了外企员工之间跨文化商务沟通的几种障碍。本文第三章着重研究了这些策略以及外企员工应如何使用这些策略来进行跨文化商务沟通。这四个策略是:第一,增强跨文化意识;第二,求同存异,相互尊敬;第三,建立良好的沟通氛围;第四,掌握沟通技巧。主要包括听、说、读、写四个方面的技巧。最后在第四章总结了全文。
总之,对外资企业的员工而言,了解和掌握不同文化背景下的商务沟通策略,减少并消除因文化差异引起的误会、摩擦和冲突,对于有效地从事国际商务活动,提高交际沟通的效果,以及创造更多的企业利润,具有十分重要的意义。

Abstract
With the accelerating process of economic globalization, China’s entry into WTO (World Trade Organization), and the step of reforming and opening-up to the outside world, foreign-funded enterprises in China are becoming more and more popular.
However, there are cultural differences among different countries. Those cultural differences inevitably affect people’s thinking mode and values, thus adding the complexity in intercultural business communication between employees in foreign-funded enterprises. Once using inappropriate communicative manners, they may bring about unnecessary misunderstanding and embarrassment. To make it worse, they may fail in business activities or even leave a bad impression on each other. In order to avoid this problem, the thesis will mainly probe into strategies of intercultural business communication between employees in foreign-funded enterprises.
To illustrate these strategies, the background and significance of BC (business communication) studies, a brief introduction to BC and the purposes for the study are introduced in Chapter One. In Chapter Two, functions of intercultural BC, barriers to intercultural BC and their influences are issued. In Chapter Three, the four strategies are put forward to make the points clearer and the thesis more persuasive. First, improve intercultural awareness. Second, seek common points while reserving differences and respect each other. Third, build up better atmosphere for intercultural BC. Fourth, master techniques of intercultural BC. In Chapter Four, the author will make a conclusion of the thesis and stress the four strategies of intercultural BC between employees in foreign-funded enterprises.
All in all, as for employees in foreign-funded enterprises, to understand and master strategies of business communication under different cultural background is significant for effective international business communication. It can help foreign-funded enterprises make more commercial profits.
