浅析大学英语课堂中师生互动对教学质量的影响

随着高校英语教学改革的不断深入, 大学英语互动教学模式相应而生。互动式教学是一种以教材为线索,通过教师与学生互为教学活动主体、互相交流信息,实现学生听、说、读、写、译能力全面发展的一种教学模式。互动式教学是在教学活动中使教、学双方都能充分发挥自身主观能动性,营造和谐的互动氛围,从而达到相互促动、共同完成教学任务的教学方法。这种新型的教学模式, 遵循大学生身心的发展规律、语言与教学规律, 体现了教师为主导、学生为主体的双向教学原则。教师不再仅仅是知识的传授者, 同时也是课堂活动的设计者、组织者和参与者。学生从过去的“听众”变为参与者、合作者、研究者。从而激发了学生学习英语的主动性并使其产生浓厚的兴趣, 调动了学生自主学习及参与意识, 对其当前学习乃至终身学习都将起到积极的推动作用,符合新时期、新时代的要求。在大学英语教学中实施互动教学,以此提高学生运用语言进行交际的能力。本文通过从理论到课堂实践的论述,说明互动教学在大学英语教学中的可行性以及全面提升大学生整体素质的有效性。

Abstract

    As the gradual reform of college English teaching, college English interactive teaching mode comes into being consequentially. English interactive teaching is a kind of teaching mode that relies on textbooks and shares information to realize the all-round development of students’ listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation through interactions between teachers and students. Interactive teaching approach, as a teaching mode, can provide both the teacher and the learner opportunities to fully show their own subjective initiative in teaching activities, further to create a harmonious interactive atmosphere, so as to achieve the interaction of mutual actuation and common accomplishment of the teaching assignment. This new teaching mode follows the college students’ physical and mental development regularity and the language teaching rule, reflects the two-way teaching principles of the teacher as the supervisor and the student as the subject. Teachers are no longer just knowledge imparter, as well as the designers, the organizers and the participants in classroom activities. From the past role as “audience”, students turn into participants, partners, as well as the researchers. This transformation, as a positive and promoting role to students’ current learning and even a lifelong learning, inspires students’ English learning initiative and make them produce strong interest, arouses the students’ self-learning and participation awareness, and meets the teaching requirement in the new period. The interactive teaching implementation in college English teaching can improve students’ communication ability of using languages. This thesis aims to account for the feasibility of interactive teaching through classroom teaching from theory to practice in college English teaching and raise the overall effectiveness of college students’ teaching quality.
