高中生英语学习动机探究
英语是高考的重要必考科目之一,而动机影响着外语学习。所以对于中学教师来讲,充分研究和调动好学生的学习动机,必将有助于提高学生的成绩。鉴于此,本文作者采用问卷调查的方法对156名威海高中高三学生的英语学习动机进行了调查,并分为两组:高分组和低分组。目的在于研究高中生的英语学习动机的差异,从而提出有效的动机激发策略。实验结果表明:1.高分组学生与低分组学生的英语学习动机都为工具型动机;然而,高分组学生的动机强度远远高于低分组学生,两组学生存在显著的差异。2.动机强度与学习成绩呈密切正相关,即学习动机强度高,则学习成绩亦高,反之亦然。3.英语学习内在动机不足,对英语丧失兴趣。根据得到的调查结果,本文进而提出了一些激发高中学生英语学习动机的有益的建议,采取有效措施促进学生的融入型动机以及内在动机等。

A Study of English Learning Motivation For Senior Middle School Students
Abstract
English is one of the most important and necessary subjects in College Entrance Examination, while motivation has an effect on foreign language learning. So as teachers in senior high school, in order to improve teaching and students’ scores, they have better know about students’ motivation and make use of it. With the help of the previous literature, a questionnaire on English learning motivation of 156 students has been done in Weihai Senior High School. They are divided into two groups: high achievers and low achievers. The aim of research explores the differences about motivation of senior high school students and finds effective strategies to enhance scores. The results show that 1.the motivation type of high achievers and low achievers is both called the instrumental motivation. But the motivational intensity of high achievers is much higher than that of low achievers.2.The relationship analysis finds out the motivational intensity has a closely connection with achievement; high achievers have high motivation,vice verse.3.Students lack inner motivation and interest in the research. So some effective suggestions are put forward to enhance intrinsic and integrative motivation.
