【内容摘要】

全身反应法在初中一年级英语词汇教学中的运用

全身反应法是美国加州圣约瑟大学心理学教授吉姆.阿歇尔于20世纪六十年代提出的。首先论及全身反应法的界定、特征、原则以及国内外研究现状。词汇是英语学习的重点也是难点,初中一年级的学生还不能适应初中英语高词汇量,词汇教学成为初中英语教学的一个薄弱环节。通过问卷调查,对比实验等方法证明了全身反应法比传统教学法更能有效的促进初中英语词汇学习。最后,通过研究调查发现全身反应法的优点以及不足,根据其在运用中存在的问题提出一系列有效的建议,让全身反应教学法在英语词汇教学过程中能更好的运用。

Application of Total Physical Response in Grade One of Junior Middle School English Vocabulary Teaching
Abstract
Total Physical Response (TPR) is a language-teaching method   developed by James Asher, a psychology professor at San Jose State University in the 1960s. This essay is to study TPR from the aspects of the definition, features, principles as well as foreign and domestic research on TPR. Vocabulary teaching is not only an important but also a difficult point , especially for students in grade one of junior middle school, as it is hard for them to adapt themselves to the large quantity of English vocabulary. Therefore, vocabulary is a vulnerable part for many students. Besides, by the method of questionnaire and comparative experiment, TPR is proved to be more effective than the traditional teaching method in English vocabulary teaching. Finally, according to the study, this essay will find out the advantages and problems existed in the application of TPR, then some effective advice is given to make TPR more useful to vocabulary teaching in grade one of junior middle school.
