汉语新词英译研究
作为传达信息的交流工具，语言相对稳定但也极具变化。我们生活在一个政治，经济，文化，科学等都迅猛变化的时代。作为外语学习者，我们只有跟上词汇发展的脚步才能更好地掌握，更灵活地运用语言，才能更好地与人交流。
在现代汉语的发展的过程当中，新词不断涌现。其产生的主要原因是政治，经济，科技领域和社会生活等方面的丰富和快速变化。我们需要创造更多的新词来满足我们的日常生活的交流。因此，这无疑给新词的翻译出了一道难题。汉语新词的不断涌现，一方面丰富了本国的语言和文化，另一方面，由于新词英译的理论研究不足，也给跨文化交际和对外文化宣传带来了一定的阻碍。因此，为了让更多的人认识并了解汉语新词，更好地促进我国语言文化的传播，我们应该重视汉语新词语的翻译，以及将新词语翻译成准确、地道的英语。在此本文将对汉语新词的定义、特征进行陈述，结合实例分析了汉语新词的主要来源，指出目前汉语新词英译中存在的些许问题及解决方法，最后，提出汉语新词的总体策略以及具体翻译方法。

Abstract
As a convey of message, language is comparatively stable but also being developed. We live in a time when all the things are changing, including politics, economy, culture, science and so on. As translators and language learners, only we keep pace with the developing words, can we learn language well and communicate with foreigners more effectively and smoothly.
In the process of the development of modern Chinese， neologisms constantly spring up. The main reason of its emergence is the rapid changes in political, economic, technological field and social life. We need to create more new words adapted to our daily exchanges. Therefore, translation becomes a difficult problem. For one thing, the increase of Chinese neologisms has enriched our language and culture. For another, it has affected our intercultural communication and international cultural publicity due to the fact that it is such a new field that the study on it is far from being explored theoretically. Consequently, we should attach much importance to Chinese-English neologism translation and do our utmost to translate the Chinese neologisms into appropriate and idiomatic English, in order to enhance people’s understanding of neologisms and promote the transmission of China’s language and culture. This thesis begins with the study on Chinese neologism, which includes the study of some aspects as the definition, features, and origins of Chinese neologisms. Then the status quo and problems of Chinese neologism translation are discussed through sampling analysis. At last, different techniques are listed with many examples.
