浅析《黛西•米勒》中的跨文化冲突

论文主要剖析了《黛西•米勒》一书中新旧世界各代表人物之间的文化冲突。小说中的人物可以分为两类：新世界的代表——美国人米勒一家；旧世界的代表——欧洲人温特伯恩等。
本论文共分五部分：第一部分，简单介绍作者与作品；第二部分，分析了米勒与不同人群之间产生的种种文化冲突；第三部分分析了产生矛盾与冲突的原因；第四部分对解决跨文化交际矛盾与冲突的解决方法进行了探讨；第五部分总结全文。

Abstract

     This present paper analyses the cultural conflicts between the persons who are the representatives of new world and old world in the novel Daisy Miller. The characters can be divided into two groups: the representatives of the new world --Miller’s family and the representatives of the old world -- Winterbourne and others
The paper is divided into five parts. The first part gives a brief introduction to both the author and the novel. The second part makes the analysis of cultural conflicts between Daisy and other groups. The third part analyses the causes of producing cultural conflicts. The fourth part illustrates the solutions to cultural conflicts. The last part is conclusion.
