英文报刊新闻标题语言翻译

新闻标题是对文章的高度概括和提升，是在第一时间吸引读者的关键因素。英美报刊、杂志的新闻标题提纲挈领，言简意赅。近年来，随着全球化的日益深入，我国媒体越来越多地采用翻译后的英语新闻，满足受众的求知需求。因此，如何准确翻译和表达原语言国家的文化，同时让题目言简意赅又新颖独特成为现代传播的重要课题。本文通过研究奈达的功能对等理论，从标题的选词、翻译的普遍错误、以及翻译技巧等方面着手，对国内各类英译汉标题的翻译进行讨论。文章陈述了国内的现状，详细论述了奈达的功能对等理论的概念以及运用，对标题翻译时的选词进行讨论并列举了部分翻译技巧同时也对文章进行总结并提出局限性。文章通过对新闻标题翻译的研究提出在媒体如此发达的今天，应当在以往的标题翻译准则上加以修正和完善，从而促进大众的阅读水平，发挥新闻媒介的传播作用。

The Translation of English Newspaper Headlines

Abstract: News headlines highly summarize the news content. The headlines of English newspapers and magazines are concise and short. With the global development in recent years, our country has input much more translated news articles to fulfill the needs of the readers. Therefore, for readers, the requirements of headline translation quality are very high. In order to achieve user-friendly features, translators try to use a variety of translating types, from the surface meaning of language to its deep meaning, trying to translate the language to discover their most important information. This paper discusses the various headlines translation through applying the functional equivalence theory, not only discuss the word choosing and common errors, but also study the appropriate translating methods. As a result, this paper states that we should amend and enrich the former standards to meet the higher level of present demands among the readers, and then promote the reading level, expand the broad influence of the media.
