《格列佛游记》中的讽刺艺术分析

格列佛游记是18世纪讽刺大师乔纳森•斯威特的代表作，这本书被当做游记文学，政论文，现实主义讽刺作品，科幻作品，童话故事，等等。随着岁月的流逝，人们温故知新，对这部小说也有了越来越多心的认识和理解。这篇论文主要通过独立分析组成小说的四部分深入地分析《格列弗游记》中各种讽刺现象：从而得出讽刺在人物塑造，情节发展，甚至主题方面都有很重要的作用。
通过对《格列弗游记》中讽刺现象的探讨，本文将为二十世纪推翻乔纳森•斯威夫特恶魔化形象的努力做出贡献，再次证明他是一个对人类存在，自由及人性深切关怀的人文主义者。

Analysis of the Satirical Art in Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels

Abstract

Gulliver’s Travels is the masterpiece of the eighteenth-century satirist Jonathan Swift. Throughout the centuries, it has been read and interpreted as a travel book, a political work, a realistic social satire, a children’s classic, etc. As time goes, people can always have new understandings about this old world classic. This thesis sets out to study satirical which exists in Gulliver’s Travels in many levels and many ways, by study the four parts independent, and finds out that satirical is very important in understanding the characterization, the structure, and the theme of the work.
By analyzing satirical in Gulliver’s Travels, the study will help to correct the demonized reputation of Jonathan Swift and prove that Swift is a freedom fighter that shows great care of human nature, human existence and welfare.
