《呼啸山庄》人物对话的会话含义研究

《呼啸山庄》是英国女作家艾米莉•勃朗特的重大作品,有很多人物之间的对话。一方面,这些巧妙的对话不仅传达了小说的主旨，也深刻地表现人物的性格特点。另一方面,这些对话也在某种程度上反映了作者的主张,能帮助读者更好地理解《呼啸山庄》。为了帮助读者更好地了解《呼啸山庄》,本文以格赖斯的合作原则为理论框架,对《呼啸山庄》中精选的典型对话进行分析，剖析深层的会话含义。本文具体分析会话含义是如何通过违反数量原则，质量原则，关系原则及方式原则而产生的。

Abstract
Wuthering Heights is the major work of Emily Bronte and it has many dialogues between characters. On one hand, these clever dialogues not only convey the theme of the novel, but also show the characters’ personalities. On the other hand, the dialogues also to some extent reflect the author’s views, which can help readers have a better understanding of Wuthering Heights. In order to help the readers better understand Wuthering Heights, this paper analyzes the conversational implicature of some typical dialogues from Wuthering Heights from the perspective of violation of Cooperative Principle. Conversational implicature is pruduced by violating the quantity maxim, the quality maxim, the relation maxim and the manner maxim.
