肢体语言在英语口语教学中的具体运用


尽管肢体语言的产生远在有声语言和书面语言之前,但是对肢体语言的研究仅仅始于20世纪40年代。长期以来,人们只注重语言交际的研究,而忽视了一个重要的事实:在面对面的交流中,大部分的信息是通过肢体语言传递的。数据表明在人类交往中,80%的信息是通过肢体语言传递出来的。因此,教师在口语课堂中适当地运用肢体语言有利于增加教学活动信息和提高教学质量。本文从肢体语言的特点、功能、分类及实际应用等方面进行了较全面的论述。

Abstract
Although body language has a longer history than both oral and written communication, the study of it has just been uncovered and explored within the last 40 years. For a long time, people tend to emphasize the verbal aspect of communication, overlooking the fact that the majority of the information in face-to-face communication conveyed by people is through body language. Statistics show that in human communication, about 80% information is expressed through body language. Therefore, the proper use of body language of a teacher in spoken English class is much beneficial to increase the information amount provided by teaching activities and to enhance classroom-teaching effect. This thesis aims at a comprehensive survey of body language in the aspects of its characteristics, functions, classifications and application in practice.
