全身肢体反应教学法在少儿英语教学的研究


 根据国内外知名的学者专家的观点,虽然孩子们很小,但是他们却有足够的能力来掌握英语和全神贯注地学习英语。在儿童早期教育中,兴趣成为了一个影响教学效果的重要因素。儿童期是人一生中发展最快速的时期,同时也是最关键的时期,儿童的心理特征不同于其他特定年龄阶段的心理特征,它们具有自己独特的心理表现。因此,用正确的方法培养孩子的学习兴趣尤为重要。
本论文建立在美国著名心理学家詹姆斯•阿士尔(Dr. James J. Asher)提出的通过口语实施最有效的伴随肢体运动的全身肢体反应教学法理论上。本论文将全身肢体反应教学法与中国现存的传统教学法进行了对比,并进一步论证了全身肢体反应教学法的优越性。鉴于孩子们这种特殊的心理和生理特点,教师们应采取适当的教学方法来满足孩子们的发展。因此,全身肢体反应教学法特别设计了一些游戏,可以使孩子们在游戏中学会英语。全身肢体反应教学法将是一个合适和有效的教学方法,它以一种自然的方式来促进理解输出的有效实现。

Abstract

  According to the views of foreign and Chinese scholars and experts, the children are young, they have enough abilities to contain and absorption in studying English. In early childhood education, the interest will become an important factor in teaching effect. The childhood is the most rapid period of lifetime, it is also the most critical period. The psychological characteristics of Children have psychological manifestations which is different from that of other age-specific stages. Therefore, it is especially important to use the right way for fostering the interests of learning of children.
This paper based on the conclusion demonstrated in Asher's studies that displaying oral practice with actions brings considerable effectiveness. The article compares Total Physical Response (TPR) teaching method with traditional Chinese teaching methods and shows the advantages of the former. According to children's special psychological and physiological characteristics, the teachers should adopt appropriate teaching methods to meet the development of children. Therefore, Total Physical Response teaching method designs some games to make the children acquire English in the games. Total Physical Response teaching method is an appropriate and effective teaching method, because it uses a natural way to promote children’s effective understanding output.
