从英文励志类影片名汉译探究中西文化差异

  随着全球经济发展和文化交流以及时代信息的来临,电影作为一种文化交流的方式在人们的日常生活中发挥着越来与突出的作用,而对于英文电影名的翻译就变得日趋重要。文章主要以英文励志类影片名的汉译为例证从中西文化差异角度来发掘英文电影名汉译实践中存在的误译现象,总结英文电影名称的特点,探索有效的英文电影名汉译的方法和原则。英文电影名的汉译要符合信、达、雅的基本原则而且还要求片名的翻译符合文化价值美学价值以及商业价值，最终达到电影名翻译的目的和效果。

On Differences between Chinese and English Culture from the E-C Translation of Inspirational Movie Names

Abstract
With the development of economy and culture exchanges in the world as well as the coming of information era, movie plays more and more prominent role in people’s daily live as a way of culture communication, thus translation of English movie titles is gaining more and more importance. The paper takes the E-C translation of inspirational movie names for example and from the perspective of differences between Chinese and English culture to explore the existing problems of the movie title translation from English to Chinese and sum up the characteristics of English movie titles and then explore the effective ways and principles of translating movie titles from English to Chinese. The E-C translation of movie names should meet the principles: faithfulness, expressiveness and elegance, what’s more, the translation of movie titles is required to meet the cultural value, aesthetic value as well as the commercial value to achieve the practical goal and effect of movie title translation.
