简奥斯汀的女性意识与现实主义
简•奥斯汀作为18世纪末、19世纪初的女性作家，是英国著名女性小说家，两百年来，她的魅力并没有随着人们文学趣味的转变而减退，反而在英国文学中的地位却随时间的过去日显重要。
她所处时代，妇女的地位仍是低下，她打破了父权社会中女性的传统观念，把对妇女的容貌和性感作为重要依据的评价标准引向对妇女的知识才能的关注上，对女性所具有的理性和智力，以及她们对社会生活所做出的明确评判和正确理解大加推崇；她的作品主要关注乡绅家庭女性的婚姻和生活，从一个小窗口中窥视到整个社会形态和人情世故，审视社会各种弊端，特别是对女性的不平等生存状态的现实主义批判，如金钱，婚姻，地位，法律等社会因素。
本文从简•奥斯汀所处时代背景与代表作出发，论证主题——女性意识与现实主义，同时结合现代实际情况，对女性意识、女性社会地位与婚姻观进行了共时描写和对比研究，实现共鸣，进一步深化主题，得出了她自己的婚姻观：婚姻要以爱情为基础，并且必须在财政上有一份安全保障，在简•奥斯汀看来，这种理性与感性的结合才能创造完美的婚姻。本研究更好地体现了女性意识与现实社会的发展与进步，有助于女性社会地位的研究，同时对当代女性婚姻观有所启示。

Abstract
As the British female writer of the late 18th century and the early 19th century, Jane Austen enjoys high prestige all over the world. For 200 hundred years, her influence has not faded away with passage of time, but has increasingly grown more significant in British literature.
In her times, women’s status was still very low, and she broke through the traditional view about women that paid attention to appearance and sexual attraction rather than intellectual and rational ability and their sensible judgment on social life, which she thought highly of. Her works mainly focused on marriage and daily life of country women, and from her works, we can clearly see the world where they lived and understand the ways of world, and her works penetrated seriously into social problems, especially the problems about inequality of women’s social status, such as money, marriage, status, law, etc.
Based on her novels and social background, this thesis demonstrates the theme—feminine consciousness and realism. Meanwhile, it is combined with modern practices, in contrast to feminine consciousness, women’s social status, and women’s view on marriage, which could better identity with the theme and enhance the theme. In conclusion, Jane Austen has her own concept of marriage: marriage should be based on love and also secured by money. To her, such entanglement of rationality and emotionality can lead to perfect marriage. This thesis can show the development and progress of female consciousness and modern world, and it will contribute to the study of women’s social status, and set a good example to modern marital orientation.
