高一学生课外英语听力自主学习情况的调查研究


基于课堂上的听力时间有限,学生听力水平的进一步提高还需依靠学生充分利用课外时间进行自主学习。
本研究通过对高一学生课外英语听力自主学习情况的调查,来发掘其影响因素和存在的问题。本文以人本主义、认知主义和建构主义为理论基础,结合高中英语听力教学的现状,以惠阳中山中学110名高一学生为调查对象,运用问卷调查和文献等方法进行研究。
研究表明,高一新生课外听力学习自主性不高。根据调查所得,本文从学生和教师角度提出了建议。学生方面:应更加有效利用听力时间,选择合适的听力策略,并建立学习小组。老师方面:应加强学生听力自主学习观念,并帮助和监督学生的自主学习过程。

ABSTRACT

The time spent on listening teaching in classroom is limited, thus an extracurricular autonomous learning in English listening is needed for the further improvement of Senior One students' listening ability.
Through the research of Senior One students' autonomous learning of English listening, this study tries to dig out its influence factors and problems. Based on humanism, cognitivism and constructivism, the thesis carries on the research combined with the current situation of English listening teaching of senior high students. In the meantime, questionnaire survey and document research are used. What’s more, there are 110 Senior One students from Huiyang Zhongshan Middle School who participated in the research.
The results show that the overall situation of extracurricular autonomous learning in English listening is not very satisfying. According to the results, the thesis makes some suggestions for both students and teachers. As for students, they should make effective use of time for extracurricular listening, choose suitable listening strategies, and establish learning team with classmates. As for teachers, they are supposed to implant the concept of extracurricular autonomous learning in English listening, and help supervise students’ autonomous learning process.
