浅析美国对中国的贸易赤字

自中国加入WTO以来，美中贸易额就从2001年的804.8亿美元上升到2011年的447.6亿美元。中美关系不断加强，目前中国已经成为美国第二大的贸易伙伴。由于美国从中国的进口增加速度快于出口速度，使得美国对中国的贸易赤字从1990年的100亿上升到了2011年的2960亿美元。快速的经济一体化在给两方带来利益的同时也使得两国的贸易关系变得复杂。
美国对中国的贸易逆差不断加大，导致了很多产品限制甚至是贸易摩擦。长期的摩擦影响了贸易双方互相的信赖。本文主要阐述了美国贸易赤字对美国产生的负面的影响，分析了其形成的具体原因，并且提出一些建议来减少由于美国对中国的贸易赤字而引起的两国的贸易摩擦。

A Glance at American Trade Deficit with China

Abstract

Since China entered the World Trade Organization in 2001, U.S.-China trade volume has rose from $5 billion dollars in 1981 to $447.6 billion dollars  in 2011. U.S.-China economic ties have expanded substantially.Now China is currently the United States’second largest trading partner. Because U.S. imports from China have risen much more rapidly than its exports to China, the U.S. merchandise trade deficit has grown from $10 billion in 1990 to $296 billion in 2011. The rapid pace of economic integration between China and the United States has made their trade relationship increasingly complicated while benefiting both countries.
The increasing number of trade deficit with China has led to many goods restrictions and even some trade frictions.The long-term friction has influenced mutual trust.This essay elaborates the trade deficit’s negative effects on America,analyzes the corresponding reasons and puts forward some suggestions,so as to reduce the two countries’ trade frictions.
