汉英称赞语对比研究

文化背景的差异是跨文化交际中最主要的障碍，在语言交往中,得体地使用语言会增加交流的机会,减少彼此间的误解。对得体的解释是言行要恰如其分,必须看场合、对象、时间等，注意行的准则，还应注意言语的表达和效果。本文拟通过对称赞语内容本身的分析归纳，以及在多种情境中不同的称赞语应对方式比较并给予相应恰当的回应方式和态度的建议，来学习和研究中西方文化差异在称赞语上的体现,以便于我们更好地去理解英语语言,尽量消除在跨文化交际中因文化差异而引起的误解.本文首先对比研究汉英语中称赞语的内容，之后对不同的回应方式进行对比研究，然后提出在汉英语中运用称赞语要注意的事项，最后分析造成称赞语及其回应方式差异性的原因。总之，当人们清楚认识不同文化、不同文化背景和不同的语言表达方式之间的区别, 才能使语言交流成为经贸、文化、科技交流服务一流的工具,。

A Comparative Study of Compliments in Chinese and English
Abstract: Cultural differences are the major obstacles in cross cultural communication. In verbal communication, using language appropriately increases opportunities for people to exchange information while reducing misunderstanding between each other. The interpretation for the appropriateness is that the words and deeds should be appropriate, which means people should pay attention to places, objects, time while communication. Meanwhile, people have to meet the standard of behavior and be careful about the effect of communication. This paper aims to have a better understanding of compliments in Chinese and English and eliminate the misunderstanding arising out from the cultural differences through learning and studying the embodiment of cultural differences. This paper also analyzes and summarizes the content of compliments and then gives advices for the appropriate responses and attitudes to the compliments in a variety of situations. Firstly，the paper has a comparative study on compliments in Chinese and English from the aspect of content, then analyzes different responses to compliments. Afterwards, putting forward the issues when people utilizing compliment in Chinese and English. Finally, the paper presents the reasons causing the differences in compliments and also puts forward the responses to the compliments in Chinese and English. In conclusion, if we have a clear understanding of different cultures, different cultural backgrounds and different ways of verbal expression, we will make language become a more fantastic tool servicing for the communication of economic, cultural, scientific and technical exchanges in the world.
