英文电影片名的翻译方法

近年来,越来越多的英语电影涌入中国电影市场，由于电影片名翻译市场的火爆,英语电影片名的翻译研究相对而言也得到更多关注。电影是一种大众文化的艺术形式，它既要符合大众的欣赏口味，又必须注意审美取向。而电影片名则是电影不可缺少的组成部分。在过去的二三十年中，影视翻译取得了一些发展，但作为影视翻译领域一个重要组成部分，电影片名翻译的研究工作还远远不够。本文从电影片名的特点和功能入手，分析了英语电影片名汉译的主要方法，通过对各种翻译方法的分析，并根据自己的见解，结合实际归纳出一些翻译技巧。文章还特别举例说明了一些经典翻译，较长电影片名、搞笑电影片名的翻译，对比了台湾香港两个地区对同一部影片的不同翻译，总结出两个地区翻译的规律，希望能更好的实现英语电影片名翻译。

Abstract
In recent years, more and more English films enter into Chinese film market. Due to the hot market of film title translation, the English translation of the film title becomes more and more attractive. Movie is an art form of popular culture, and it not only has to meet the tastes of the general public, but also has to realize the aesthetic value. Film title is an indispensable part of movie. Although in the past three decades, the film translation has gotten some development， as an important part of the field of audiovisual translation, there is still a lot of research work to do. This paper tries to conclude the translation methods commonly used in English film title translation after analyzing the features and functions of English film title. In addition, this paper summarized some aspects which should be noted in the choice of translation methods according to some personal insights. Some examples related to film title translation, namely, some classical and humorous translation, translation of long English movie title, different translation in Taiwan and Hong Kong are introduced to further discuss the translation of English film title.
