环境和人性的对话-《蝇王》和《珊瑚岛》对比研究

《蝇王》和《珊瑚岛》两部小说均是描述一群孩童在遭遇海难后被遗留在一座荒岛上，两部小说开端相似，却有着截然不同的结局。我们知道，环境对人性的改变有着微妙并不可或缺的巨大作用。因此，本文通过对《蝇王》和《珊瑚岛》两部小说的对比研究，来讨论环境与人性之间的关系。
整篇论文分为五个部分。第一部分介绍论文的研究背景、研究目的、研究方法及论文的基本结构。第二部分对作品背景的进行对比介绍。第三部分主要讨论通过这两部作品看出环境影响人性的共性。第四部分讨论环境对人性的改变体现在孩童的各种行为改变上。第五部分是关于环境的改变是人性发生转变的催化剂。最后一部分是总结，以及两部作品对当今世界的启示。
本篇论文旨在通过讨论《珊瑚岛》和《蝇王》的异同，来探讨研究环境对人性的影响，让大家更多的了解到环境对人性带来的影响，从而对自身，对自己所处的环境进行反思，清楚的认识到自身真正的面目，以及自己身上存在的罪恶根源，同时警惕会引诱人们走向深渊的阴暗邪恶的欲望。这样，人类才能够更好的控制恶的欲望，从而使自身达到更高的境界和更好的完善，也让这个社会得到相应的净化。

A Dialogue between Environment and Human Nature-A Comparative Study of Lord of the Flies and The Coral Island
Abstract: In the novels of Lord of the Flies and The Coral Island, both of the stories are about the children who are left in desolate islands. As the two writers have different living experiences and social backgrounds, the two stories share similar beginning but different ending. As we know, environment has a great influence on human nature. Through the comparative study of The Coral Island and Lord of the Flies, the thesis will discuss relationship between human nature and environment.
The thesis will be divided into five parts: the first part is about the research background, purpose and methodology as well as the basic structure of the thesis; the second part is the work background contrast; the third part discusses Influence of environment on the commonness of human nature; the fourth part talks about Environment impact on humanity reflected in children’s behavior; and the fifth part concerns about changes in the environment is a catalyst of humanized shift; and Finally it comes to the conclusion ( implications for today).
The thesis aims to discuss the similarities and differences of The Coral Island and Lord of the Flies to explore the influence of environment on human nature, which let humans be more aware of the influence of environment on humanity, so as to reflect on their own. People can recognize their true colors and the root of all evils existing deep in people’s heart. Meanwhile, people will be alarmed of the evil desires that lure people into darkness. In this way, people can better control the evil desires, which better improves and makes their own level higher to let the society obtain the corresponding purification.
