美中教育制度对比研究

在如今这个信息与知识爆发的时代，教育在社会中扮演着越来越重要的角色，对社会的发展具有重要的价值和意义，甚至成为国际间竞争成败的一个重要因素。作为社会系统中的有机组成部分，教育的发展受到社会强有力的制约，同时对社会的发展具有巨大的推动作用。然而，不同的国家，由于不同的国家体制、思维模式和价值观念等，有着不同的教育体系，进而产生不同的教育观念、教育方式和教育方法。美国被普遍认为有着世界上最好的教育，而且与中国相比持着完全不同的教育理念。美国以提升学生的创新能力为目标而中国看重的是学生基础知识的学习与掌握。有鉴于此，本文比较研究了美国和中国教育制度等客观教育状况，分析了中美教育差异产生的原因，并从中得出了对中国的启示。

Comparative Analysis of American and
Chinese Education System

Abstract

In the era of information and knowledge explosion, education plays a more and more important part in modern societies. It has a particularly important value and significance to the social development, and even becomes a decisive factor in international competition. As in integral part of the social system, the development of education, on one hand, is strongly conditioned by the society; and on the other hand, it has a huge role in promoting the social development. However, different countries have different education system that results in diverse education ideologies and education methods as a result of the state system, thinking model and cultural values. American education is generally considered as the best in the world, and it holds a totally different education philosophy from China, for example, American education is held to raise students' creativity while the Chinese aims at building students' basics. In view of this, the thesis makes a comparative study of such objective factors as education system of the United States and China, analyzes the causes of educational differences of the two countries, and ends with an implication to Chinese education.
