电影《当幸福来敲门》采用了2006年美国著名黑人投资家克里斯加德纳的自传小说。这部电影描述了一个无家可归的父亲和自己两岁的孩子追求他们所要的幸福的故事。在他们追求幸福的过程中，他们面临了很多的困难，但是，他们从来没有放弃过，这位父亲把困难当做挑战，在挑战中提升自己。最终，他成了一个股票经纪人。

Discussing the Hope and Happiness from
The Pursuit of Happyness

Abstract

The film The pursuit of happiness adopted a famous American black investment expert Chris Gardner’s autobiography published in 2006. The movie describes how a homeless father with a 2-year-old son pursuits his happiness, in the pursuit of happiness, he faces many obstacles, but he never gives up, he put the difficulties as challenges. And in the end, he became a stock broker.   
The pursuit of Happyness shows the theme of “American dream”. The purpose of The pursuit of Happyness is to encourage people to chase their dreams, pursue their happiness, insist their own mind, and to tell us that success should never be given up. At the same time, it tells us how those were reflected in the film.
This paper mainly adopts a kind of analysis and comparison for the research and instructions, trying to analyze the leading roles in the film and the inner significance of the important scenes, and analyzing the key factors of success. Finally the paper reflects the inner significance of the film to readers, discerns the relationship between hope and happiness, and makes readers understand the importance of hope and happiness. If hope and happiness come into lives, it will bring the unexpected effect, which must be chased.
