中美跨文化友谊对比研究

“朋友”和“友谊”是人类生活不可或缺的一部分。随着全球化的发展，中国同西方各国，尤其是和美国的交往不断扩大，两国人民的交流日益频繁，“友谊”这一问题在交流中也就自然地凸现出来。然而，友谊观与国度、民族、文化等有着非常密切的联系。由于社会历史文化等的不同，不同国家、不同文化人民对于朋友和友谊的内涵的理解有着很大的差异，所持的友谊观大相径庭。因此，对中国和美国友谊观进行跨文化对比研究就变得十分必要。
本文借助跨文化交往理论，主要从友谊的概念、友谊的特点，以及友谊的建立等三个方面对中美友谊观的差异进行跨文化对比研究，以促进两国人民之间跨文化交际的顺利进行。

A Cross-Cultural Study of Friendship
in Chinese and American Cultures

Abstract

     “Friends” and “friendship” are an integral part of human life. With the development of globalization, the exchange between China and western countries, particularly between China and the United States, are expanding, and the communication between Chinese and Americans are becoming increasingly frequent. All this naturally gives rise to the “friendship” between the two people. However, the idea of friendship has a close relationship with the country, the nation and the culture. Owing to social, historical and cultural factors, the connotations of friend and friendship are varied in different countries and cultures, and the ideas and views of friendship held by people from different countries are sometimes widely divergent. Therefore, it is quite necessary to conduct cross-cultural comparative studies of friendship in Chinese and American cultures.
     Based on the theories of intercultural communication, this thesis makes a cross-cultural comparative study of “friendship” through the three aspects of concepts, characteristics, and development of friendship in Chinese and American cultures, with the hope of promoting intercultural communication between the two people.
