电影《泰坦尼克号》中的英国绅士文化分析

This thesis introduces the definition, origin and development of British Gentleman Culture and focuses on the analysis of Gentleman Culture reflected in the movie Titanic. Through a careful appreciation of the movie Titanic, an analysis of passenger and crew’s behavior aboard on Titanic and a perusal of some material related with Titanic, this paper aims to give a clearer picture of British Gentleman Culture and Gentleman Spirit reflected in Titanic. What can be analyzed from the movie Titanic and some material related with Titanic about British Gentleman Culture consists gentlemen’s etiquettes, attitude towards women and, most importantly, their composedness in facing death. Gentleman spirit contributes much for Briton to make their behavior and mind principled, which also sees folks’ fascination around the world.

摘要: 本文介绍绅士文化的定义、起源以及发展,致力分析电影《泰坦尼克号》折射的绅士文化。通过对电影《泰坦尼克号》的鉴赏、对乘客和船员在船上的行为的分析以及对与《泰坦尼克号》相关资料的细读，本文试图对展现于影片中的英国绅士文化及绅士精神做一个更为清晰的探讨。通过对影片《泰坦尼克号》及其相关资料的分析可以看出，英国绅士文化包含绅士礼仪和对待女士的态度，更重要的是绅士们面对死亡的从容淡然。绅士精神为规范英国人的行为和思想做出了巨大的贡献并得到世界各地人们的推崇。
