论亨利•戴维•梭罗《瓦尔登湖》中的简约主义

As a reflection upon simple living in natural surroundings, Walden demonstrates what Minimalism has advocated with Henry David Thoreau’s philosophical ideas of a simplified way of living as well as with its stripped-down, matter-of-fact prose style. Based on Thoreau’s personal life experience of two-year residence at Walden Pond where Thoreau lives a very simple and primitive life and written with an economy of words and precise language. Walden embodies Thoreau’s lifelong doctrine of a simplified way of living which includes life free of materialistic pursuits, self-reliance, closeness to nature and spiritual benefits. Moreover, Minimalism manifested in Walden has important enlightening significance to the society in which people indulge in materialistic pursuits.

摘要：《瓦尔登湖》，作为对自然环境下简单生活的一种反映，展示了由亨利•戴维•梭罗所提倡的包括简单生活的哲学思想的简约主义以及其不加修饰、实事求是的散文风格。基于他在瓦尔登湖既简单且原始的两年生活经历和他在写作语言上用词的简短和精准，《瓦尔登湖》体现了梭罗一种崇尚简朴生活的人生信条，即远离物质生活、自力更生、亲近大自然以及精神上的满足。此外，《瓦尔登湖》中所体现的简约主义对沉溺于物质追求社会的人们有着重大的启示意义。
