浅析《远大前程》中皮普的成长历程

查尔斯•狄更斯是英国近代文学史上最具有影响力的批判现实主义作家之一, 狄更斯小说的思想内容是丰富而复杂的。《远大前程》是19世纪狄更斯创作后期的一部不朽的现实主义力作，它主要描写了主人公皮普的成长历程，描写了主人公如何感悟人生，回忆往事，并且在现实社会里不断成长、思想、性格方面逐渐成熟的过程。本文主要分析皮普的成长过程，儿时的他是天真，善良的，随着社会环境的变化，他变成了一个自私，冷漠的青年。本文从他不同时期体现的性格特征，不同的思想变化，从他成长过程中对社会现实认识的变化以及社会环境对他的影响等方面进行分析探讨,具有一定的教育意义。

Analysis of Pip’s Growth Experiences in
Great Expectations
 
ABSTRACT

Great Expectations is one of the later representative works of Charles Dickens who is considered as the greatest critical realism writer in British in the 19th century.                                                                                                   Great Expectations is written in a semi-autobiographical style and is the story of the orphan Pip, writing his life from his early days of childhood until adulthood and trying to be a gentleman along the way. As a child, Pip is a kind and warm-hearted boy; while he changed into a selfish and cold adult. The author describes Pip’s growth process. He is an innocent and kind boy at the beginning . As social environment is changing, he becomes a selfish and cold adult. The author is from the aspects of Pip’s growth experiences, thought changing and attitudes toward the relative society to analyze this thesis, which has great educational function.
