《飘》中的女性生存意识和创业精神

玛格丽特•米歇尔唯一的小说《飘》描述的是美国南方庄园主的女儿斯嘉丽•欧哈拉在美国南北战中和战后重建过程中所经历的故事。整部小说是围绕女主人公斯嘉丽所展开的，斯嘉丽是个美丽，聪明，但又离经叛道并且自私的女人，她总以自己的意志为主去做任何自己想做的事情。因为她不懈坚持的努力和追求，给读者们留下了深刻的印象。
这本小说主要描写的是斯嘉丽为了保护自己的土地和家人，试着去做了很多曾经根本没有做过的事情，比如自己下田干活，牺牲自己的婚姻幸福，嫁给一个根本不喜欢的人，甚至杀了一个北方的士兵。斯嘉丽的女性生存意识正是在这样的环境逼迫下慢慢显现出来，到了最后完全地体现出来。另外，斯嘉丽敢于反抗社会舆论走出自己的家庭，进入男权社会去争取女性在事业上的独立。她运用自己强大的创业精神去开创自己的事业，虽然遇到了不少困难那和麻烦。但是她冷漠地无视批评，为达到自己的目的不折手段，自然地她最后成功了，甚至打败了很多男性竞争者。
如果斯嘉丽存在于我们现今的社会，毋庸置疑的是她还是一个成功女性，而且不需要面对任何批评。当然她的女性生存意识和创业精神是值得我们好好学习的。

Female Survivalism and Enterprising Spirit Reflected in
Gone with the Wind
Abstract: Margaret Mitchell's only novel Gone with the Wind depicts the experiences of the plantation owner's daughter Scarlett O'Hara during the American Civil War and the reconstruction period in the South. The whole novel revolves around heroine—Scarlett, who is a beautiful, smart, deviant and selfish woman, but is driven by her own strength of will. She gives readers a memorable impression, because of her unremitting struggle and pursuit.
This paper attempts to help readers analyze the novel in the perspective of feminism to shed some new light on it. The novel mainly describes Scarlett O′Hara who, in order to protect her land and family, tries every effort to do what she has never done before, such as working in field, sacrificing her happy marriage and even killing Yankee soldier. Her female survivalism is gradually formed in this environment, and then completely becomes mature in the end. In addition, she dares to fight against the social consensus and go out of the family to the patriarchal society to acquire the female's independence in career. She utilizes her powerful enterprising spirit to create her own career, although she has encountered many problems and difficulties. Nothing can stop her to achieve her own goal coldbloodly and ignore any criticism, naturally at last she even beats the male competitors and becomes very successfully.
Undoubtedly, if Scarlett lived in nowaday’s society, she is a successful woman without facing any criticism. Her female survivalism and enterprising spirit are worth learning for women in modern society.
