浅谈英语专业学生以阅读英文原版作品为方式的自主学习

二十世纪七十年代，自主学习这一概念正式进入到语言学习的领域。如今在语言学习中，自主学习已是新趋势大方向。从上个世纪九十年代开始，我国学者开始进行有关学生自主学习的研究，与此同时，中国的教学家们也对学生们的英语自主学习的研究有了新的探索。在语言的学习中，尤其是外语，阅读无疑是十分重要的学习内容，也不失为一种良好的自主学习方式。但是，目前中国高校的英语自主学习状况并不是非常乐观。本论文试图通过问卷调查和采访的方式，找出英语专业学生进行自主学习时存在的问题，并以英文原版阅读为英语自主学习的主要方式，对此提出一些切实可行的解决方法来加以改善，用于唤醒英语专业学生自主学习的意识，使他们能用科学的方式来有效地开展自主学习。

On Autonomous Learning of English Major Students via Studying English Original Works

Abstract: In 1970s, autonomous learning was formally involved in language learning. Nowadays, it is obviously a trend for language learners and educationists to apply the theory of autonomous learning into their language learning and teaching process. Educationists in China have paid their attention to autonomous learning since 1990s, especially on autonomous English learning. In the process of learning a language, especially a foreign language, reading of that language is both a significant learning content and a learning target. Therefore, studying English original works has its important place in learning English. Actually it is also a method of autonomous learning for English learners. However the situation of autonomous English learning in universities and colleges via studying English original works of English learners, even English major students, is not what we expected. In this paper, the author tries to find out some of the barriers and problems of autonomous learning of English major students though a questionnaire and an interview, give possible solutions in order to wake up their awareness of autonomous learning and provide them several advice on how to carry on autonomous English learning via studying English original works scientifically and effectively.
