从浪漫走向世俗的新型女性——《理智与情感》中玛丽安的性格分析

在奥斯丁之前的英国文学史上，玛丽安可称得上一个新型的女性形象，从浪漫走向世俗，但不庸俗。她是一个敢于反抗伪善的社会习俗，敢于追求现实的幸福和真正的爱情，希望富裕但又不盲目膜拜财富的新型女性形象，开始关注于经济的思考，最终成为了一个世俗的、现实的女性，而不是以往只关注道德的待字闺秀，突破了以往文学史上那些仅仅依靠美貌加美德而获得美满婚姻的女性塑造的老套。另一方面，人类普遍价值观在文学传统中的反映依然延续下来，即对于真诚爱情的渴望，但爱情不能建立在虚无缥缈的海市蜃楼中，这就是玛丽安形象的可贵之处。她的转变是女性觉醒的一个写照。

Abstract
In the history of English literature before Austin, Marianne can be regarded as a new image of women, from the romantic to the secular, but not vulgar. She is the one who dares to resist the hypocrisy of social conventions, have the courage to pursue the real happiness and true love and hope wealth, but do not blindly worship. She began to focus on the economy, and ultimately became a secular reality of women rather than in the past to be only concerned with the moral character lady, breaking the previous history of literature who rely solely on the beauty and virtues of women to obtain a happy marriage of old-fashioned shape. On the other hand, universal human value reflected in the literary tradition still continues down the sincere desire of love, but love cannot be built on the illusory mirage, which is valuable point of Marianne’s image. Her shift is a portrayal of the female arousal.
