Abstract
The Snows of Kilimanjaro is a stream of consciousness novel which is highly successful. It is called one of the best works of Hemingway's works and there is time and space, reality and dream crisscross. With singular language atmosphere, it tells harry who died under the Mount Kilimanjaro after winning spirit, and reflects the value of life. The Snows of Kilimanjaro first said that people found a leopard that died near the peak in the west. Nobody knew what this leopard climbed to such a cold place to look for, no one could explain it. By reading this article, actually I can understand it. The leopard was to seek life or death. Mount Kilimanjaro is regarded as the end of heaven and hell, and the point of life and death. The purpose of this thesis is to ask readers to cherish life, to know the value of life, because only when you are alive, you can do what you want to do and pursuit what you want to get. It is life that makes everything meaningful. No matter they are a person or an animal; they all have their value of life.
