从规训理论与身体理论看德伯家的苔丝中的亚雷

《德伯家的苔丝》作为哈代的代表著作，体现了哈代小说的特点，而能否有一个好的角度和好的方法进行研究至关重要。以往学者都只是单方面的从女性主义去看待《苔丝》，去评价亚雷，认为亚雷是十恶不赦的人，本文却想从另一角度去看待，运用福柯的规训理论对这部小说进行重释,采用福柯的身体理论作为支撑，重新为读者展示新的亚雷，以亚雷的行为去反射哈代小说的特点和当时的社会背景，社会的现状，趋势以及存在的问题。
本文主要分为三个部分，第一部分是文献综述，写的是关于哈代和这本书的背景和研究。第二部分是分析亚雷，由两个方面组成：控制和监测。第三部分是最终的结论。

Abstract

As a representative work of Thomas Hardy, Tess of the D’Urbervilles reflects the characteristics of Hardy’s novels. Nevertheless, it is of great importance whether we can have a study on the novel from a good angel with a good way. Scholars used to analyze Tess of the D’Urbervilles from the single aspect of feminism. They criticized Alec and considered him as a bad evil that was not worth being saved. While, the author intends to reinterpret the novel from another angel in this paper, which is, the Discipline Theory of Foucault. The present paper reinvents the image of Alec to the readers based on Michel Foucault’s body theory and reflects the characteristics of Hardy’s novels, concerning the historical background of his time and the current situation, as well as developing trend and existent problems.   
The present paper is mainly divided into three parts. The first chapter concerns the background and studies on Hardy and the book, which is the literature review. Analysis on Alec goes on in the second chapter from two aspects: control and monitoring. In the end is the conclusion.
