英汉谚语的文化差异

英汉谚语作为两种不同的语言瑰宝，由于谚语独特的文化而表现出明显的差异。本文借助一些典型的例子，从生存环境、风俗习惯、宗教信仰和道德观念入手，列举了谚语的种类，探讨了英语谚语和汉语谚语之间存在的差异，展现中英两方文化差异带来的异域风情。

Abstract

English and Chinese proverbs, being treasures of two different language, show differences resulting from cultural discrepancies. This essay illustrates the classification of proverbs and discusses the differences between English and Chinese proverbs from the perspectives of the living environment, customs, religious beliefs and moral concepts, and the exotic differences between western and Chinese culture based on the comparative study of English and Chinese proverbs.
