Abstract
This paper, based on the training goal of English teaching, through the discussion of the relationship between language and culture, discusses the necessity and feasibility of teaching English culture in the primary school stage, its content and the present situation, and in-depth analysis of how to improve the teaching of English culture as well as other problems. The paper provides a feasible method for primary school English teaching reform, illustrates the change of the situation in English education, enhancing intercultural communicative competence and pragmatic competence of students in China's foundation.
