从《阿甘正传》看美国个人主义价值观
文化底蕴是价值观的基础，价值观主导着人们的社会生活。文化交流能促进各国的合作与联盟；处理不好，会出现外交摩擦。所以，研究西方主流价值观，是解开中西方交流不通畅的密码。个人主义是美国的核心价值观，本文通过电影《阿甘正传》从多个方面映射了当代西方文化价值观，其中个人主义尤其被突显得淋漓尽致。本文旨在通过对美国电影《阿甘正传》的分析，结合概念、历史和文献分析等，得出其社会影响，也增强了对美国个人主义价值观的正确认识并得出以下结论：
1. 了解美国人的价值观是勤劳节俭。这来自新教的个人主义的影响，美国的早期定居者认为他们的辛勤工作，作为一种手段，与神沟通。这种精神影响了一代又一代的美国人，并推动了美国社会的发展。因此，学习勤奋值个人主义是有益的。
2. 成功和幸福的价值追求。在电影“阿甘正传”的美国价值观的描述一样，其核心是尊严。我们每个人都有获得幸福的权利。我们需要工作，以提高我们的生活水平，这种积极的态度是值得我们学习的。
3. 竞争的概念。美国人相信竞争可以最大限度地发挥每个人的潜力。他们挑战大家和大家的力量，尽可能创造财富。这就解释了为什么垄断会由美国政府进行调整，以确保公平竞争。保证有效竞争，这将是能够创造效益的好处。我们要高度重视，树立竞争观念。

Abstract: Cultural heritage is the basis of values which dominate people's social lives. It can promote cultural cooperation and alliances; if not handled properly, there will be diplomatic frictions. Therefore, the study of Western mainstream values is the code to unlock the obstacles in the communication between East and West. Individualism is the core value of the United States. Through the movie Forrest Gump, which shows us many aspects of contemporary Western cultural values, the value of Individualism is portrayed vividly in particular in this paper. By the analysis of many episodes in Forrest Gump, especially the analysis of the concept, history and literature, etc., we can not only come to its social impact, but also have a deep understanding of American values of individualism and make the following conclusions:
(1) The values of being thrifty and hard-working. Influenced by the Individualism derived from Protestant, the early settlers of America regarded their hard work as a means to communicate with God. This spirit has influenced generations of Americans, and promoted the development of American society. Therefore, learning the values of diligence in individualism is beneficial.
(2) The pursuit of the values of success and happiness. Like the description of American values in the movie Forrest Gump, the core is dignity. Each of us has the right to get happiness. We need to work in order to improve our living standards, this positive attitude is worthy for us to study.
(3) The concept of the competition. Americans believe that competition can maximize the potential of each person. They challenge everyone and force everyone to create wealth as much as possible. This explains why monopoly would be adjusted by the U.S. government in order to ensure fair competition. By guaranteeing effective competition, it would be able to create effective benefits. We should attach great importance to establishing the concept of competition.
