大学生外语学习焦虑的影响因素分析

学习焦虑是一个心理学概念,属情绪范畴。近些年来,国内外学者对这一影响语言学习的情感因素做了不少研究,主要是对焦虑做出了定义,进行了分类,更重要的是还对焦虑与外语学习的关系及其对外语学习的影响,引起外语学习焦虑的原因以及克服焦虑的对策等进行了探讨和研究。 但以上研究大多采用单一的定量研究方法,缺乏与定性数据的结合。
通过对菏泽学院100名一年级大学生进行问卷调查及采访,试图了解大学生外语学习是否存在焦虑现象,大学生在外语学习的具体领域焦虑状况如何及大学生外语学习焦虑的影响因素和缓解措施。调查问卷所得数据用SPSS进行分析,结果显示,大学生外语学习存在普遍的焦虑现象,且个体差异性大。采访得到的定性数据显示,大学生在外语口语学习中存在显著的焦虑现象;大学生外语学习焦虑的影响因素主要是性格、英语能力、交际焦虑和自尊心等内部因素;大部分学生采取过缓解措施但效果不佳。

Influencing Factor Analysis of College Students' Foreign Language Learning Anxiety

  
Abstract: Learning anxiety, an emotional category, is a psychological concept. In recent years, the researchers both at home and abroad have done a lot of research on this emotional element that influences language study, which mainly focus on the definition, classification, and more important, its relationship with foreign language learning, the reason and relieving measures of language anxiety. However, single quantitative research method was used in the past, lacking of the combination with qualitative data.
    Based on the various data got from a questionnaire survey and an interview to a total of 100 freshmen from Heze University, the present study aims to investigate the current situation of the college students' anxiety level in specific areas of foreign language learning and the influencing factors of college students' foreign language learning anxiety as well as their alleviating measures. Through the analysis of SPSS, it can be concluded that most of the college students have great anxiety in English learning and there is significant individual difference in college students' foreign language learning anxiety. The qualitative data got from the interview suggest that students get the highest level of anxiety in oral anxiety and the reasons of their anxiety mainly on internal aspect (such as personality, English capacity, communicative apprehension and self-esteem). Besides, most of them have taken measures to reduce their learning anxiety, but there's little effect.
