论图书编辑审稿中的价值判断

人的一切活动都是具有一定价值的活动，出版活动也不例外。[1]编辑出版活动的核心是审稿，审稿就是对书稿的审读过程，这也是一个辨别真伪优劣、探求真理的过程，这些过程的实现必须通过编辑的价值判断。从保证出版物的质量来说，审稿把关非常重要。一般情况下，出版机构都有各自的出版宗旨和工作方针，在各自的出版宗旨和方针指导下产生的初稿，要在审稿之后才能做出准确的判断，才能成为现实的东西。从编辑的全过程来看，审稿处于承上启下的关键地位。编辑在审稿过程中要掌握正确的方式和方法，才能做出合理的价值判断。审稿时的价值判断是决定出版物是否能够在出版市场上生存以及生存期长短的重要因素，编辑只有在审稿中做好价值判断的工作，才能实现出版社经济效益与社会效益双赢的目标。
