论《肖申克的救赎》中对于精神自由的追求

《肖申克的救赎》通过人性与专制、自由与禁锢、希望与幻灭的冲突阐述了制度化对人性的迫害。本论文集中分析了对于追求精神自由以及完成生命中真正的救赎的渴望。本论文由五个章节组成。第一章节介绍了对《肖申克的救赎》的研究意义、论文观点以及论文结构。第二章节是关于本小说的文献综述，对学者们提出的制度化和新哥特理论做简单介绍。第三章节分析安迪如何获得了身心自由，并且在救赎了自己的同时也救赎了他的狱友瑞德。第四章节分析了成功获得精神自由对于我们的启发。最后一个章节总结前文，并点明本论文的主题—精神自由的追求。

Abstract
Through the conflicts between humanity and autocracy, freedom and imprisonment, hope and disillusion, Shawshank Redemption reflects the persecution of institutionalization on human nature. The paper concentrates on the hope of the pursuit of spiritual freedom and the fulfillment of the real redemption in life. This paper is developed into five chapters. Chapter one introduces significance of the study, the thesis statement and the structure of the thesis. Chapter two is the literature review on this novel and gives a brief introduction of institutionalization and the new Gothicism theories among different scholars. Chapter three discusses how Andy obtains his physical and spiritual freedom, and his redemption together with his inmate Red. Chapter four analyzes the enlightenments of achieving spiritual freedom successfully. The final chapter is a conclusion that sums up the previous parts and points out the purpose of this paper — the pursuit of spiritual freedom.
