庞德诗歌中的儒家思想

庞德是20世纪美国最有影响力的诗人之一,而且他热爱中国文化，对中国古典诗歌及儒家经典著作怀有强烈的兴趣。庞德站在在西方战争的废墟中遥望远古的东方，并在中国古代先圣的思想中找到了自认为可以激活西方文化和拯救西方社会的良方。他用儒家的“仁”“义” “诚” “中庸”“正名”等作为思想内核，用儒家的思辨方式刷新了自己的诗歌艺术。他的经典长篇著作《诗章》将儒家的思想贯彻始终，从各个方面论述了儒家思想的先进性。古代的中国的繁荣昌盛也是由于有了儒家思想的指导，所以他希望西方的政治家们能学习中国儒家思想，用儒家的各种理论治理政事。同时他认为只有把西方贤哲的人文思想与儒家伦理结合起来,才是拯救人类文化的唯一通途。

Ezra Pound’s poetry and Confucianism
 

ABSTRACT
Ezra Pound was one of the most influential American poets of the 20th century, and he loves the Chinese culture,and has a strong interest in Chinese classical poetry and the Confucian classics. Pound,who stood in the ruins of west war and looked the ancient eastern world far from west world, thought that he had found the best way from the saints of ancient China and the best way by which he could activate the western culture and save the western society. He used words like “Benevolence” “Justice” “Honesty” “the Doctrine of the Mean” ”Zhengming”, which come from Confucian thought as the core of his thought, and used the Confucian way of thinking to refresh his poetic art. His classic epic poem The Cantos carries the Confucianism through the whole poetry, and to reflect the Advance of Confucianism from the various aspects. The prosperity of ancient China comes from the guidance of Confucian thought, so he hope that politicians in the West can learn from Chinese Confucianism, and manage the public affairs with the conduct of Confucian theories. Meanwhile, he thought the only thoroughfare to save humane culture was to combine the humane ideology of the western wise man and Confucian ethics.
