从功能对等论看商务信函翻译

  随着世界经济一体化、贸易全球化的日益发展，世界各国的国际经济、贸易等活动日益繁荣。于是，商务信函翻译也就变得至关重要，若翻译恰当，则促进贸易，反之可能导致贸易纠纷。
 本文旨在奈达的功能对等理论指导下探讨商务信函的翻译技巧。
 本文由五部分组成。第一章介绍了目前商务信函翻译的状况。第二章主要从两个方面介绍了奈达的功能对等理论：一是它的基本概念，二是它对中国翻译研究以及商务信函翻译研究的贡献。第三章将商务信函特点从词汇，句法，篇章三个层次进行了分析。第四章从功能对等理论的角度探讨了商务信函翻译。第五章总结全文。
在上述研究的基础上，还收集了大量的商务信函翻译资料，在词，句，篇章各个层次都取得了意义和风格上的对等。

Abstract

With the development of global economic integration and trade globalization, the activities of international economy and trade are becoming prosperous increasingly. Therefore, the translation of foreign business correspondence influences the international trade transaction, if handled well, it will stimulate the deal; otherwise, it may arouse disputes.
This thesis consists of five parts. Chapter One deals with an introduction to the translation views of business correspondences in the present-day situation. Chapter Two studies Nida’s Functional Equivalence from two aspects: basic definition and its contribution to the Chinese translation studies and the translation of business correspondences. Chapter Three provides the language features of business correspondence. Chapter Four explores the Functional Equivalence theory in the translation of business correspondences on three levels—lexis, syntax and text. Chapter Five concludes the whole thesis.
I collected plenty of examples of translations of business correspondences, trying to achieve functional equivalence on three levels.
