【摘要】

中英文化差异下旅游英语翻译障碍及其对策研究

中国国际旅游业的发展越来越快,旅游翻译的地位也就越来越重要。旅游翻译质量的好坏将直接影响国外游客的旅游兴趣,可见其对中国旅游事业的发展至关重要。中国和英语民族由于自然地理条件、文化、宗教、历史等原因,形成了不同的民族习惯和性格。从旅游文化的角度出发,阐述中英两种语言在旅游文化中的差异体现。着重探讨分析旅游翻译中因文化上差异而造成的障碍。最后,又从文化差异的角度分析翻译时应采取的方法和策略。目的是通过对中英文化差异的认识,了解旅游英语的语言特点,提高旅游英语的翻译质量,将旅游文化内涵正确传递给外国游客,从而促进中国旅游业的进一步发展。

Tourism English Translation Obstacles and Its Strategies Based on Chinese and English Cultural Differences
 

Abstract:The development of China's international tourism can not do without translation. The quality of translation not only directly affects foreign tourists’ mood, but also important for the development of China's tourism. Due to the natural geographical conditions culture, religion, history and other reasons of Chinese and English people, it has formed the different national characters. This paper expounds performances that Chinese and English language differences  embodied from the perspective of tourism culture. It focuses on discussing obstacles caused by cultural differences. Finally, it lists several translation methods and strategies according to the perspective of cultural differences. This paper’s purpose is to realize the characteristics of the tourism language by understanding Chinese and English cultural differences, to improve the quality of tourism translation, to pass tourism culture connotation correctly to foreign tourists, so as to promote the further development of Chinese tourism industry.
