跨文化商务谈判中的寒暄现象差异研究-基于中国和美国的文化语境

随着全球化进程的推进,跨文化商务交际活动变得愈加频繁与重要。作为社交言语的重要组成部分,寒暄语成为当今社会热门话题。不同文化的寒暄差异现象已为人熟知,寒暄在跨文化商务谈判中扮演着越来越重要的角色。虽然在翻译理论研究领域这一现象已被深入讨论,然而针对该现象在跨文化商务谈判中的深入探讨却少之又少。跨文化商务谈判中,寒暄差异现象可能会引起文化上的冲突。
基于中国和美国的文化语境,本文选取了来自电视剧和电影中的三个商务谈判案例进行分析,依据霍夫斯泰德的文化维度、霍尔德高语境和低语境导向和布朗和莱文森的面子理论,对谈判中的寒暄差异现象进行了比较深层次的研究,就如何避免由于寒暄文化差异引起的冲突,和如何恰当地进行跨文化寒暄提出了自己的见解。

Research on Differences of Phatic Communion in Intercultural Business Negotiation: under the Cultural Context of China and the United States
Abstract
With the boost of globalization, activities on intercultural business communication become more frequent and important. As an important part of social speech, phatic communion has been a hot topic today. Different phenomenon of phatic communion, which is based on different culture, has been well known and it plays a more and more important part in business negotiations. It has been discussed in the field of translation studies, pragmatics, and so on. However, discussion on business communication on especially business negotiations is fairly little. In business negotiations,different phenomenon of phatic communion may lead to the cultural conflicts .
 Based on the cultural context of China and the United States, this paper selects three cases  about business negotiations from some TV plays and films, conducts a research on different phenomenon of phatic communion at a deep level from Hofstede’s Cultural Dimensions, Hall’s High Context and Low Context Orientation, Brown and Levinson’s Face Theory, and makes suggestions on how to avoid the conflict which is caused by cultural differences and how to go on phatic communion in an adequate way.
