Abstract

    As the principal event in Rulinwaishi, Taber Temple Worship is the manifestation of its gist. In this novel,Taber Temple is a significant cultural image. Taber represents Comity and the Taber Temple acts as the symbol and practice of the ideal of running the world with Rites and Music. Therefore, the Rites and Music ceremony in the n- ovel is written in a dignified tone with seriousness. The final collapse of the Taber Temple symbolizes the failure of the Rites and Music Statecraft.
