An analysis on the heroin’s character in Jane Eyre
 

Abstract: Jane Eyre, Charlotte Bronte’s most representative work, has been popular with readers since its publication. Charlotte Bronte created successfully a typical female character that had the courage to fight for her freedom and independence. No matter what Jane met and where she was，she always rebelled against that unfair society. She never gave up to try her best to gain freedom，independence，fair life and true love．This paper tries to analyze the independence, rebellion and faithfulness in the Jane Eyre’s characters, from what Jane Eyre had experienced and what she thought about the happiness .Furthermore, it helps readers to appreciate the theme of Jane Eyre in more profound perspectives.
