互动式教学模式在英语口语教学中的应用

在过去的三十年里,语言教学和学习领域经历了轰轰烈烈的教学大纲评估改革。各种教学方法,如直接法,听说法与交际法等相继被引入中国,其中在20世纪80年代,由语言教学研究者提出的互动式教学方法是最受欢迎的。互动教学法遵循“做中学”的原则,把语言运用的基本理念转化为有实践意义的课堂教学方法。它以心理语言学理论、学习论和二语习得理论为理论基础,强调通过使用目的语的互动活动来学习语言,从而不断提高学习者的交际能力。
本文旨在讨论如何在英语口语教学中有效地应用互动教学法,提高学生的口语能力。在实际教学调查以及对比分析的基础上,提出互动式教学模式在英语口语教学中应用的可行性,表明互动教学法是一种以人为本的,能体现语言价值的,先进的,有效的教学方法,能在一定程度上有效地提高学生的英语口语能力。互动教学法将对英语口语教与学产生深远影响。同时本文也提出了在实施互动式教学法过程中的可行性建议,希望对其他实践这一教学模式的教师有所借鉴。

In the past 30 years, the field of language teaching and learning has witnessed a profusion of evaluation of syllabuses. Various teaching methods such as Direct method, Audio lingual method and Communicative Approach are introduced into China, among which the Interactive Teaching Mode is one of the most popular ones. The Interactive Teaching Mode emerged in 1980s, which based on the development of psycholinguistic linguistics theories, the second language acquisition, and learning theory. “Learning by Doing” is the first principle of the Interactive Teaching Mode. Interactive Teaching Mode is always organized around a variety of different kinds of interactive activities which are related to the real life, taking the learners’ desire for accomplishing some specific tasks.
In this paper, the application of the Interactive Teaching Mode in oral English teaching is discussed. It provides the study of the literature review of the Interactive Teaching Mode. It makes an analysis of what is drawn from the experimental teaching. Lots of works and the experiments on the Interactive Teaching Mode show that this kind of teaching Mode is an advanced and efficient one which puts the students in the first place. It is effective in enhancing the students’ oral English competence. And not only in theory but also in practice, it will be continuing to exert a far-reaching influence on oral English teaching and learning in China. At the end of the paper, some suggestions for the application of the Interactive Teaching Mode are made.
