【摘要】

关于提高英语阅读水平的教学策略


在科学技术发达的今天,阅读显然已经成为我们获取和交流信息的主要方式。阅读是外语教学的一个重要环节,它为学习者提供了重要且充足的学习资料,并且也是提高学生的听力、口语、写作和翻译能力的基础所在。在各种英语等级测试中,阅读都是至关重要的一环。因此,一些教师和学者开始研究新的关于英语阅读的教学方法,以提高学生的阅读理解水平。
本论文首先分析了当今阅读教学存在的弊端以及阅读教学的重要性。根据前人的观点与研究,以及对影响学生阅读水平的诸多因素的分析,提出新的教学策略应该达到的教学目标。为此本论文提出了一种新的教学策略来提高学生的阅读水平,为了验证此策略的可行性论文采取了定量的研究方法,针对教学策略的每一步做成调查问卷,来证明此策略能在学校教学中推广实施。

Abstract

Nowadays science and technology are well developed; reading is obviously the chief way from which we gain and exchange messages. Reading is one of the important links in teaching of a foreign language. It gives learners important and sufficient materials for language input, and it is the foundation to improve students’ listening, speaking, writing and translation abilities. So in various grades of English tests, reading stands at the top of the world. Because of this, some teachers and scholars begin to research new teaching methods of English reading in order to improve students’ reading comprehension level.
This paper first analyzes the drawbacks of present-day teaching of reading, as well as the importance of reading teaching. According to the view and research of our predecessors, as well as the analysis of many factors affecting the level of students to read, the teaching objectives which should be meted for new teaching strategies is required. To this end, this paper presents a new teaching strategy to improve the students’ reading level, then in order to verify the feasibility of this strategy, this paper adopts quantitative research method and a questionnaire is made in accordance with every step of the teaching strategy to prove that this strategy can be implemented in schools.
