论黛茜·米勒悲剧命运的必然性

《黛茜·米勒》是亨利·詹姆斯创作的一部著名小说。本论文采用文献研究法，集中分析了黛茜·米勒的悲剧命运，以及形成这一命运的必然性。为了更好地支撑这一主题，该论文分成四大部分：第一部分对研究意义、论点及组织结构做一简介；第二部分简要介绍了前人对这部作品的评论；第三部分由三个方面集中分析黛西米勒悲剧命运的必然性——欧美文化差异、黛茜的性格以及小说中各相关人士对黛茜命运的不同影响；第四部分为结论，重申主题。

Abstract

Daisy Miller is a famous novel written by Henry James. This present paper adopts literature study method, concentrating on the analysis of the tragic fate of Daisy Miller and the inevitability of her tragic fate. To support the thesis, the paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter gives a brief introduction to the significance, thesis and organization of the paper. The second chapter introduces previous studies on this novel briefly. The third chapter makes an analysis of the inevitability of Daisy’s tragic fate from three aspects — the cultural difference, Daisy’s personality and the influence of the related persons. The fourth chapter is the conclusion, restating the thesis of the paper.
