网络时代翻译的新趋势

In internet era, the methods of translation have been greatly changed. There are various software and online dictionaries for translators to use. The powerful internet has provided great convenience to translators. Meanwhile, the translation industry in China is booming. These factors have contributed translation industry to a prosperous future. However, many drawbacks brought by this era also hinder the development of the translation industry. So, what perspective should translators hold in the new era?
In this thesis, three parts will be introduced specifically. First, the background information describes the situation of translation in the past and the development in today’s society, including the origin of machine translation, and the accomplishment of translation in both past and today. Second, the new features in the internet era are listed in detail, including some new software and new methods used by translators. Some new features of translation in internet era has appeared, such as automation, high speed, high accuracy, and time saving, etc. Searching method has changed from looking up in the thick dictionaries and books in the past searching through the search engine and online dictionaries today. Finally, the opportunities and challenges in translation industry are discussed. With the help of internet, translation industry has developed rapidly. It is a fact that translation industry is widespread and professional. However, the artificial intelligence has become a hinder to the development of translation industry. Translators have got a sense of crisis. Hence, compared with foreign translation industry, Chinese translation industry has some drawbacks, which lead to the falling behind. Chinese translation industry should enhance its competitiveness.

摘  要
在互联网时代，翻译方式有了很大的变化。译者有各种各样的翻译软件和在线词典可以使用。强大的互联网也给译者提供了极大的便利。同时，中国的翻译产业也在蓬勃发展。这些因素都使得翻译产业前景光明。然而，互联网时代也带来了一些短板，阻碍了翻译产业的发展和进步。因此，在互联网时代，译者究竟该以何种态度来应对这个新时代？
此篇论文详细介绍了三个方面。第一，背景信息介绍里说明了过去翻译的情况和现在的发展状态。包括机器翻译的起源，过去翻译的完成情况，以及现在翻译的完成情况。第二，详细叙述了一些互联网时代的翻译新特点，包括现代译者常用的软件和翻译搜索方法。新时代的翻译出现了自动化，速度快，准确性高，节省时间等新特点。搜索方法也从过去的译者查阅纸质字典，厚重书籍变成了在线字典和搜索引擎。第三，本文介绍了翻译产业所面临的机遇与挑战。翻译产业目前借助于互联网的发展得到了更好的发展机会，翻译行业也更加广泛和普及。但同时，因为人工智能的发展，译员更加有危机感。此外，与国外的翻译企业相比较，中国的翻译产业还存在很大的缺陷，竞争力有待提高。
