论《飘》中斯嘉丽的性格

小说《飘》是美国著名女作家玛格丽特·米歇尔创作的一部具有浪漫主义色彩的小说，小说的背景设立在美国南北战争期间，作者着重描述小说的女主角斯嘉丽在战乱前后的生活以及性格变化，同时通过她与书中几位男主角的感情纠葛的介绍，生动的为我们展示了南北战争期间社会的生活画面。《飘》最成功之处在于对斯嘉丽性格以及情感的生动描写，为读者塑造了一个生动鲜活的人物形象。文中这个集矛盾、复杂、多面于一体的核心人物，所表现出来的叛逆精神和艰苦创业、自强不息的精神，值得我们学习。本文从历史社会学角度、根据小说战争事件发展的先后顺序从嘉丽家庭背景的变故、爱情婚姻和经济状况三方面的分析来说明战前、中、后的斯嘉丽所表现出来的不同的性格特点，从而展现了这一人物在众多文学形象中的独特魅力。

Abstract

Gone with the Wind is a famous romanticism novel written by American female writer Margaret·Michelle. It focuses on describing the life of Scarlett, a farmer’s daughter, against the background of the American Civil War. By the clue of the love story and development of relationship among Scarlett and Ashley, Rhett Butler and others, this novel shows a vivid picture of life in Southern society before, during and after the war. The most successful of the fiction is that it created a unique character, a heroine Scarlett with true portrayal of emotion. The contradictory, complex, multi-faceted central figure, demonstrated by the rebellious spirit and hard work, self-reliance spirit, inspires modern women to conquer difficulty. This essay is taking historical sociology to unveil the different characteristic feature of Scarlett which she showed before, during and after the war, by analyzing the change of family background from misfortune, love and marriage, and economic situation, so as to show the unique charm of the figure among numerous literary protagonists.
