中药药品说明书翻译过程研究

作为传统中医翻译的一个分支，中医药说明书的翻译在加强中医药国际化的舞台上扮演了一个很重要的角色。本文主要分析了目前中医药说明书中所存在的问题，并应用翻译过程的一些理论总结出中医药说明书的翻译标准。药品说明书作为一种实用文体，具有很强的功能性和目的性，译者在翻译过程中要尽可能的将原文中的意思传达到译文中。在这篇论文中，笔者从翻译过程的理论出发，分别从翻以前，翻译中和翻译后三个阶段分析目前市场上现有的中医药品说明书的翻译所存在的问题及其改进。结果显示，中医药说明书的英译存在许多问题和错误，在术语的使用上不够完整和规范，一些药品的名称无法使西方顾客所理解，有些药品还具有多个名称，并且大部分英译药品说明书无法准确地将源语信息准确完整的传达。通过运用翻译过程等相关理论分析在不同阶段译者所要注意的事项，可以有效避免一些问题和错误的产生。

Study on the Translation Process of Chinese Traditional Medicine Instructions
Abstract
As a branch of traditional Chinese Medicine translation, the translation of Chinese medicine instruction plays a quite important role in enhancing the internationalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine CTM) . In this research, the author analyzes the problems existing in present CTM instruction translation, and attempts to summarize a standard by employing the theory of translation process. As a practical type of writing, CTM instructions, strongly functional and purposeful, tries to convoy the original meaning as much as possible. In the research, the author analyzes the CTM instructions translation process from three parts: before translation, during translation and after translation. In the analysis, some examples are selected from the CTM instructions available in the market. The results show that the CTM instructions have a lot of problems and mistakes as follows: the structure terms in CTM instructions are not complete and normative enough, and some drug names would make western customers confused, and some drug has more than one name. Most of the Instructions fail to convoy the accurate information to the readers. By analyzing the process of CTM instruction translation from those three parts, some of the problems and mistakes could be avoided effectively and the quality of the translation could be improved.
