With the continuous development of economic globalization, China's favorable investment environment has attracted foreign investors to invest in the enterprises in China. Cross-border M&A has gradually become a new investment trend. Cross-border M&A as a new attempt to invest, it has not only changed the traditional form of using foreign capital, but also developed various positive effects of industries in China. The discussion of Mergers and acquisitions of transnational corporations in China mainly involves three aspects. First, the purpose of cross-border M&A; second, the effects of cross-border M&A arising from the issue; third, the response studies of cross-border M&A.
The total article is divided into five parts. First part describes the concept of cross-border M&A as well as the status of the development of cross-border M&A; second part goes on to the analysis of the motive and trend of cross-border M&A; third part is about the opportunities and challenges faced in cross-border M&A; fourth part focused on analysis of economic effects of cross-border M&A, which is divided into macro-economic effects and micro-economic effects; the last part is the response to cross-border M&A at this stage a series of measures to be taken.
This series of studies are mainly the following conclusions:
1. In recent years, cross-border M&A has a trend of expanding the scale of investment. And the demanding of control the company is high. At the same time, the industries involve in M&A is wider.
2. In choosing target companies, multinational corporations tend to select those with better economic benefits and have a relatively strong economic advantage or more influential brand business.
3. The success of cross-border M&A is closely related with the sound macroeconomic environment, the better domestic production resources and market resources as well as the policy openness and supports.
4. Cross-border M&A is actually a double-edged sword. Success of the M&A can promote better development and possession of more favorable market resources. But there are also a number of risks. So it should be careful when dealing with M&A.
5. In face of cross-border M&A, China should not only create a good environment to attract foreign investors, but also should continue to improve their management capacity, for example to enhance the participation of M&A.
